The First International conference on Information Systems and Software Engineering - ICISSE 2009 is scheduled to be held from 28th Dec 2009 to 30th December 2009 at Meenakshi Sundararajan Engineering College, Chennai, India.
The conference will provide a platform for knowledge sharing for researchers and developers from the Industry and Academia. The forum will be an excellent opportunity for researchers and designers to present and discuss the entire spectrum of topics in the areas of Information systems and Software Engineering. The three day program will consist of tutorial sessions, and paper presentations. All accepted papers will be published in the proceedings of the conference. There will be awards for the best paper presented in each session.

National Conference on Trends in Computing Technologies NCTCT '09
The 2nd "National Conference on Trends in Computing Technologies" was conducted on February 12th, 2009. The advisory committee for this event comprised of faculty from prestigious universities in Tamil Nadu and from the US. The response to call for papers was quite overwhelming. With over 90 research papers being submitted from various institutions and organizations in India, a total of 9 papers were shortlisted and presented. Mr. M.S. Suryanarayanan Delivery Manager, Infosys Technologies Ltd. presided over the inaugural function.
National Conference on Trends in Computing Technologies NCTCT '08
The Department of Computer Science & Engineering hosted its 1st "National Conference on Trends in Computing Technologies" on March 5th, 2008. The advisory committee for the conference comprised of four external members (Professors from Anna University & Florida Atlantic University, USA) & two internal members. Over 110 research papers were reviewed from various institutions in India out of which 30 papers were presented. Dr.Vijayan Immanuel, Head Talent Transformation, HCL Technologies, inaugurated the conference.
